Heritage Breed
SRF Kurobuta Pork
Family Farm Raised
Snake River Farms spare ribs are cut St. Louis style and perfect for the 3-2-1 method on your smoker. These richly marbled ribs are also great on the grill or prepared in the oven. These full sized ribs are larger than our baby backs. These spare ribs are 100% Berkshire (Kurobuta) pork with a deep pink color, rich flavor and juiciness.
The membrane found on the bone side of all pork ribs is not removed. Kurobuta ribs are smaller in size than conventional pork, and we do not recommend them for competitions.

Snake River Farms spare ribs are praised for their great texture, outstanding flavor, and tenderness. Customers appreciate the quality and dry rub, though some noted the ribs cook faster than expected and can be a bit chewy. Size feedback is mixed, and opinions on the rack vary.

"They were ok. Our first rack was awesome! The second one was not so good and mostly fat. But I wanted to try it again and the third one is very much like the second one. Probably will not order again. BUT when you get a good one they are the very best ribs!!!"
"Ribs were considerably smaller which is what other reviewers mentioned. They tasted pretty good but so little meat. It was decent but is likely a “one and done” for me. I used the 3-2-1 method in my smoker. That might a bit much for these ribs. Not bad, but not for me."
"Best ribs I ever smoked. Will be using these from now on."
"We love the spareribs. They were much better than we get at COSTCO."
"Love them. Best ribs ive ever had/smoked/made. Flavor and quality are on point. However, they are extremely small for spare ribs. Could be the breed of hog etc. . . but just be forewarned - ive ordered twice now and they are tiny."
"Very tasty, but I think I screwed up the cook, fell completely off bone as I unwrapped it and was soaking in fat in package. Gonna do next one unwrapped on the Traeger and hope I have better results ."
"Thought they were a bit small but meat quality was good"
"Everything I get from SRF is absolutely the best. I’ve recently started getting their pork products, boneless fully cooked 1/2 ham. I have had many many hams over the years, honey baked, Virginia hams and assorted others. The srf ham was by far far the best ever. Juicey, flavorful, tender. I will never buy another brand again. the entire family was extremely impressed."
"Got the st Louis ribs and they were marbled prefect. tasted the best."
