Shrimp from the Gulf Coast of the US is the most popular seafood in the country. Our wild caught shrimp is sourced from the Gulf Coast fisheries of Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana and Texas. Shrimp from the Gulf tastes superior to those from the Atlantic and are known for their sweet, earthy flavor.

Our Gulf shrimp are caught in the wild of US waters, not harvested from unregulated, foreign industrial farms. They are free from antibiotics or preservatives for healthier and more delicious shrimp. We do the heavy lifting, so your shrimp arrive peeled, deveined and recipe ready.

Average weight: 10 oz. Each package contains 13 to 16 shrimp.

These wild caught Gulf shrimp are flavorful and cook quickly. Use Gulf shrimp in any of your favorite recipes. 

Wild shrimp cooks fast due to its low fat content. Remove from heat as soon as the shrimp turns pink and tightens into C shapes. 

We love these shrimp sauted or grilled. Delicious with just a sprinkle of salt and a squeeze of lemon, but work with spices and herbs. 

Thaw completely before cooking. In a pinch, these hold up well in a quick-thaw. Just submerge the vacuum bag in cold water, changing periodically until thawed.

How to cook shrimp

Ensure the shrimp is thawed before cooking. Heat a pan or skillet on a stovetop with a thin layer of oil or butter over medium-high heat. Arrange the shrimp in a single layer in the pan and cook for 2 minutes or so without moving the shrimp, so they can cook evenly on one side. Flip and cook for another 1-2 minutes. Remove from heat once the shrimp turns pink and curl into C shapes. They are delicious with a sprinkle of salt and a squeeze of lemon, and you can also experiment with spices and herbs.

All seafood is wild caught in sustainably managed US fisheries. All fish purchased from SRF is labeled with the species name, catch location, catch method, and, if applicable, the vessel it was caught on. To ensure top quality, all seafood products are flash frozen at peak freshness.
