Meet your new favorite backyard burger. Our American Wagyu patties get stacked with crispy bacon, melty American cheese, and a tangy gochujang mayo that brings just the right amount of heat and a healthy portion of Kimchi - all piled high on a toasted brioche bun. This is the burger that'll have everyone asking for the recipe.
Ingredients
-
4 SRF Wagyu Hamburger Patties
-
8 slices of Kurobuta Bacon
-
4 brioche buns
-
8 slices American cheese
-
Favorite burger rub
-
Kimchi
Gochujang Aioli
-
½ cup kewpie mayo (or regular mayo)
-
1 tablespoon gochujang
-
1 teaspoon sesame oil
-
1 teaspoon rice wine vinegar
-
1 teaspoon honey
Directions
Preheat charcoal or gas grill for 15 to 20 minutes.
Add all of the ingredients for the aioli to a small bowl and mix well. Taste and adjust seasoning as needed then place into the refrigerator.
Season burgers with your favorite beef rub and set to the side.
Once the grill is hot add the bacon and flip occasionally until it's rendered and crispy.
Place the burgers on the hottest part of the grill. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes then flip. Once you have good color and crust, move the burgers away from the direct heat to slowly bring up the internal temperature. About 5 to 6 minutes on indirect heat.
Add 2 slices of American cheese to each burger. Lightly toast the brioche buns while the cheese melts. Close the lid and let the cheese melt.
Build your burger and enjoy!
