"5 stars. . . currently putting my 3rd purchase of this marvelous pork roast in the oven! The fat cap adds to the pleasure of this roast. The roast is nicely striated with fat, too. Several single meals plus sandwiches for days! I always pre-salt with kosher salt and bring to room temp before putting in the oven. Cooks quickly, in my opinion. . to a lovely med. rare. Would make a good holiday gift, also, IMO. thanks, SRF!"

"I was very disappointed. I am a cattle ranchers daughter and love tri-tip. I cooked it to perfect rare sliced it thin but it was tough and VERY fatty. We tried you out because we had a roast dinner with your tenderloin at someone else’s house. That was delicious. For the money I would not order again."

"This was an excellent steak. I ordered two, they both came well cut and they cooked fast. Despite strong marbling, they were never fatty. I'd highly recommend these as a replacement for a strip steak."
