Firm, flaky and mildly sweet, this delicious fish is 100% caught and processed in the U.S. Each skinless filet is naturally low in fat and is caught using responsible and sustainable fishing practices. Cooks up beautifully pan seared, grilled or steamed. Ideal for your favorite recipe that calls for a firm, white fish.

Each package contains two 6 oz. wild caught cod filets, flash frozen at the peak of freshness. Please note that fillet shape may vary depending on where it is cut.

 

Cooking Tips

Northwest Pacific cod is extremely versatile and can be baked, broiled, pan fried or grilled with equal success. 

Coat the fillets in batter, pan fry and serve with homemade fries outstanding fish & chips.  

Cod has a mild flavor it pairs well with a wide range of seasonings. Simple additions like lemon and herbs are delicious as well as spicier ingredients. 

Avoid overcooking this fish as it can turn tough and rubbery. It is easy to gauge if cod is cooked visually when it begins to flake or use a thermometer and target an internal temperature of no more than 140°F.

"SRF known for fish? Here to comment that the Cod fillets were fantastic. Cod is known to be mild fish. Not really anything special or elaborate. I don't know who packs this fish for STF or it they have there own people who catch the fish. The quality of those fish fillets were phenomenal. Pricey for Cod. Once again, get what you pay for with SRF. Start to finish however these fish were harvested was quality all the way. They must have hand selected the best quality fish at the dock. It does ay on packaging it's harvested by line. Processed at a harbor in Alaska."
