"This cut is the cheapest cut we received from SRF as a bonus (get 2 if you spend more than $399) which I usually wouldn’t normally eat and despite it being one of the cheaper cuts it was incredibly delicious! I’m a steak snob and that says a lot! LOL"

"When you can get this on sale, you can't go wrong, minimal cost of standard ground beef with significantly more flavor. Made a quick meat sauce that tastes like it was an all day ragu."

We were very disappointed in

"We were very disappointed in our recent delivery. The ribs were REALLY small. We've ordered them twice before and been very happy with them. This time we ordered 3 racks and wish we hadn't. We still have two left but they're nearly impossible to cook and have them remain moist. Don't even try smoking them, they will dry out to dust. I guess the next time we try to cook a rack we will do it in the oven with some moisture."

"The best tri tip I’ve ever had. Cooked it on my Yoder 640 and it came out perfect. Yes seasoning can make a big difference but the quality of the meat has to be there and the quality of SRF meats are top!"

The choice tri-tip was full

"The choice tri-tip was full of sinew, gristle, cartilage and a lot of fat. We could not chew and swallow it! It was inedible, a total waste of time and effort! We haven’t tried the Wagu tri tip yet."

I would give this wagyu

"I would give this wagyu flank steak 10 stars if they were available! Honestly, it was the most tender flank I have ever prepared and eaten. I did make a marinade but frankly it was more effort than it was worth and this incredible flank did not need it. Next time, just salt and pepper and some garlic. I seared it in my cast iron skillet and finished it quickly in the oven. It was so tender that it almost fell apart in my hands while I was moving it around . To prepare just salt generously with kosher salt and let it sit around for awhile. Bring to room temp before searing. Two large meals and sandwiches for several days. Best ever!! SRF was wonderful with the billing and packing. Their meat has always arrived frozen and packed in dry ice. A nice plus: they also send the above in a zippered, substantial bag for future use. I am really just a regular, senior user! That is: not paid or asked for this review. You definitely get what you pay for from SRF!"
