Outside skirt steak is sometimes called a "butcher's cut" because it's a uniquely delicious cut that is popular with beef experts. This simple, but rich marinade, infuses American Wagyu with sweet and savory elements for a fast, but impressive meal. This recipe is a stand-by at the Rebholtz family table. According to Beth Rebholtz, "Skirt steak is my go-to whenever I have dinner guests. Easy to prep, quick on the grill and tasty! It never disappoints.
Ingredients
- 1 American Wagyu Black® Skirt Steak
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 dash Worcestershire sauce
- Maple syrup, to taste
Directions
- Mix all ingredients. Place skirt steak in a shallow dish or plastic bag and marinate for 1 ½ to 2 hours.
- Place on a hot grill and cook each side for 2 to 3 minutes until the inside is 130°F. Serve immediately.
