Ingredients
-
1 Kurobuta Whole Boneless Ham
-
1 cup browned butter
-
1 cup honey
-
½ cup brown sugar
-
¼ cup full grainy mustard
-
¼ teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
-
¼ cup apple cider vinegar
Directions
Preheat your oven to 325ºF.
Score the ham, then place in a cast iron or roasting pan.
In a pan, cook the butter on medium until browned and foaming. Then, whisk in the honey, brown sugar, mustard, spice, and apple cider vinegar until smooth and bubbled. Let boil for about 30 seconds then remove from heat.
Brush a generous layer of the glaze over the ham, reserving some for later.
Cover the ham loosely with foil and bake for 1 ½ to 2 hours. Baste with the glaze every 30 minutes.
Remove the foil during the last 30 minutes of cooking so the glaze can caramelize and become glossy.
Let the ham rest for 15 minutes before slicing and serving, pouring any last glaze over the ham. Plate with sliced apples and rosemary.
