30-Minute Ground Beef Fajitas

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 teaspoons chili powder
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 2 pounds Snake River Farms American Wagyu Ground Beef
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil

  • 1 medium red pepper, cut into thin strips
  • 1 medium orange pepper, cut into thin strips
  • 1 medium green pepper, cut into thin strips
  • 1 medium yellow onion, cut into thin slices
  • tortillas, for serving

  • guacamole, salsa and sour cream, for serving

Directions

  1. In a small bowl, stir together the chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, dried oregano, onion powder and paprika with 1 teaspoon kosher salt. Set the mixture aside.
  2. Add the ground beef to a large nonstick skillet set over medium heat.
  3. Once the skillet is hot, add the ground beef and cook, and cook, breaking it apart with a spatula until it is no longer pink, about 8 minutes.
  4. Once the ground beef is cooked through, stir in the seasoning mixture.
  5. Using a slotted spoon, transfer the ground beef to a plate, leaving all drippings in the pan. You should have about 2 tablespoons of drippings, but if needed, supplement with vegetable oil.
  6. Once the oil is hot, add the peppers and onions to the pan. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the vegetables have softened, 3 to 5 minutes.
  7. Return the ground beef and any drippings to the pan and toss to combine. Serve in tortillas with assorted fajita toppings.
